The TransAmerica tour of a Stag Triumph will be in Nashville on Wed, Aug 5. A reception will be held at the Lane Motor Museum from 4 pm til 8 pm. Plans are to grill some hamburgers, hotdogs, etc. We will be asking club members to help out with side items. Check out the tour's progress so far at trimumphtransamerica.org.uk. The entire trip is a fund raiser for studies in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The tour will leave for Memphis on Aug 6 and we may ba able to tag along.

The August drive will start at the parking lot for Percy Warner Park on Hiway 100 (just north of Old Hickory) at 3:30 pm. We will leave at 3:45 pm sharp. Drive directions will be handed out at the start. We will hold the August monthly dinner at the Beacon Light Tea Room in Bon Aqua, TN (6276 Highway 100 Bon Aqua, TN 931-670-3880). The Ma NBCC dinner will be May 15 at the historic Richards Louisana Cafe at 4420 Whites Creek Pike, Whites Creek, TN 37189 at 5 PM. See their website at www.richardscafe.com and click on 'dinner menu'. We have eaten brunch and dinner there and it is great! They have a beer license only and no alcohol may be brought in. There is an early 1900's bank building which is used for private parties and holds 20 people cozily that we can eat in.

We have set our gathering time on May 22 at 2:30 meeting in the Independence Square Kroger parking lot. The Kroger address is 305 Independence Square located off Hillsboro Pike just south of Franklin High School. Meet at the South side of the parking lot. We will depart at 3:00 sharp. If anyone thinks they will be late call Paul at 308-5170. We will drive over the back roads of Franklin to Pegram where we plan to have an early dinner at "The Best Little Catfish Place" they also offer Chicken, Shrimp, Barbecue and Angus Steak with gravy.
