We are looking for Vintage/Classic cars and their owners to come out to the event to enjoy a day of classic cars and polo.
All proceeds from the Polo Match and Car Show will benefit The Rochelle Center and Saddle Up.

Join us for a drive to Lynchburg for lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's. We will leave from the Kangaroo Station at the intersection of Hiways 96 and 31A in Triune at 10 am so be there by 9:45. The TransAmerica tour of a Stag Triumph will be in Nashville on Wed, Aug 5. A reception will be held at the Lane Motor Museum from 4 pm til 8 pm. Plans are to grill some hamburgers, hotdogs, etc. We will be asking club members to help out with side items. Check out the tour's progress so far at trimumphtransamerica.org.uk. The entire trip is a fund raiser for studies in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The tour will leave for Memphis on Aug 6 and we may ba able to tag along.

The August drive will start at the parking lot for Percy Warner Park on Hiway 100 (just north of Old Hickory) at 3:30 pm. We will leave at 3:45 pm sharp. Drive directions will be handed out at the start. We will hold the August monthly dinner at the Beacon Light Tea Room in Bon Aqua, TN (6276 Highway 100 Bon Aqua, TN 931-670-3880). Move in on Wednesday between 12 noon and 6 pm - move out after 5 pm on Sunday. We need to have 10 cars to participate.

The club's Christmas party will be held on Saturday, Dec 12 at the Lane Motor Museum between 1 pm and 4 pm. The museum is located at 702 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, 71210. All food and drink will be provided by the club and museum tours are included. Please RSVP by Dec 5, 2009 at Christmas Party

Join us on March 28 at the Whites Creek Post Office at 4402 Whites Creek Pike for a tour of area north of Nashville over some great roller coasters .. er .. I meant roads. NEW TIME The April drive will be April 25th. Meet at 11:45 at the Franklin YMCA (Mack Hatcher and Royal Oaks Parkway for a country drive to the Mt Pleasant Grille for a luncheon buffet that sounds delish! Mike and Carol Long will be our hosts. We have to leave earlier to accommodate the restaurant. Expect to pull out of the parking lot at 12 noon.

Saturday's events will include the show, great concessions, People's Choice voting, a road rally thru the surrounding hills, and then dinner at the Carriage House. Both nites will include the telling of tall tales around the bonfire. Featured Marque is the Lotus.

The Ma NBCC dinner will be May 15 at the historic Richards Louisana Cafe at 4420 Whites Creek Pike, Whites Creek, TN 37189 at 5 PM. See their website at www.richardscafe.com and click on 'dinner menu'. We have eaten brunch and dinner there and it is great! They have a beer license only and no alcohol may be brought in. There is an early 1900's bank building which is used for private parties and holds 20 people cozily that we can eat in.
We have set our gathering time on May 22 at 2:30 meeting in the Independence Square Kroger parking lot. The Kroger address is 305 Independence Square located off Hillsboro Pike just south of Franklin High School. Meet at the South side of the parking lot. We will depart at 3:00 sharp. If anyone thinks they will be late call Paul at 308-5170. We will drive over the back roads of Franklin to Pegram where we plan to have an early dinner at "The Best Little Catfish Place" they also offer Chicken, Shrimp, Barbecue and Angus Steak with gravy.

This year's Lynchburg Car Show will be held on the grounds of the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg on June 5. Show is free. Lunch 'on the Hill' is $15 and we need to purchase tickets by May 29. Call the Jack Daniel's Visitor Center at 931-759-6319 for tickets and more info.
This is a benefit ride for Anthony 'Tank' Meeks who suffers from ALS. Anthony was diagnosed in 1996 and give 2-5 years to live. he is still going but requires 24 hour care and is fed thru a feeding tube. His TennCare have expired and this ride will raise funds for his continued care. All funds raised will be donated to Anthony's Charitable Fund. The ride starts and ends at Pickwick State Park and will include a raffle for a cold drawn sword and T-shirt sales.
NBCC June drive - June 26. 9:30 am. Meet at behind Daily's Shell Station (SE corner of I65 and TN96) in Franklin. This is right across from the Cracker Barrel. Leave at 9:45 sharp.
