 The Ma NBCC dinner will be May 15 at the historic Richards Louisana Cafe at 4420 Whites Creek Pike, Whites Creek, TN 37189 at 5 PM.  See their website at www.richardscafe.com and click on 'dinner menu'.  We have eaten brunch and dinner there and it is great!  They have a beer license only and no alcohol may be brought in.  There is an early 1900's bank building which is used for private parties and holds 20 people cozily that we can eat in.

 We have set our gathering time on May 22 at 2:30 meeting in the Independence Square Kroger parking lot. The Kroger address is 305 Independence Square located off Hillsboro Pike just south of Franklin High School. Meet at the South side of the parking lot. We will depart at 3:00 sharp. If anyone thinks they will be late call Paul at 308-5170. We will drive over the back roads of Franklin to Pegram where we plan to have an early dinner at "The Best Little Catfish Place" they also offer Chicken, Shrimp, Barbecue and Angus Steak with gravy.

 This year's Lynchburg Car Show will be held on the grounds of the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg on June 5.  Show is free.  Lunch 'on the Hill' is $15 and we need to purchase tickets by May 29.  Call the Jack Daniel's Visitor Center at 931-759-6319 for tickets and more info.

 This is a benefit ride for Anthony 'Tank' Meeks who suffers from ALS.  Anthony was diagnosed in 1996 and give 2-5 years to live.  he is still going but requires 24 hour care and is fed thru a feeding tube.  His TennCare have expired and this ride will raise funds for his continued care.  All funds raised will be donated to Anthony's Charitable Fund.  The ride starts and ends at Pickwick State Park and will include a raffle for a cold drawn sword and T-shirt sales.

 Join us on Sunday, September 26 for our great white north trip redux.  Since we had inclement weather for our March tour we are going to try it again as our September tour.  Meet at 11:45 am for a 12 Noon departure at the Whites Creek Post Office, 4402 Whites Creek Pike, Whites Creek, TN.  We will tour northern Davidson County as well as Robertson and Sumner Counties stopping for lunch in White House and then traveling on to a winery in Portland.  Those that braved the weather in March had a really nice time so make plans now to join us.

 The 2010 NBCC Christmas Party will be held on Dec 4.  Once again Carl George has graciously allowed us to use his garage in Cool Springs for the event.  Carl's garage is located at the end of Gothic Court just off Mallory Station Rd.  The club will provide a main dish and liquid refreshment.  Members are asked to bring a holiday dish to share as below:

 Annual Kars for Kids Car Show at the Tennessee Baptist Children's  Home at 1310 Franklin Road in Brentwood.  We are sponsoring  three classes.

 April NBCC drive will be April 30.  We will assemble at 10 am at the Ravenswood High School parking lot (1724 Wilson Pike - exit 69 off I65, east on Moore's Lane to a right (south) on Wilson Pike, then left after the first light on Wilson Pike). Leave a 10:30 am sharp.  Mike and Carol Long will be leading us to Belfast, TN with a lunch stop in Lewisburg at Mildred's.  Object of the drive will be to visit new member Jim Hery's restoration shop with a stop at an Alpaca Farm.
