The 2010 NBCC Christmas Party will be held on Dec 4. Once again Carl George has graciously allowed us to use his garage in Cool Springs for the event. Carl's garage is located at the end of Gothic Court just off Mallory Station Rd. The club will provide a main dish and liquid refreshment. Members are asked to bring a holiday dish to share as below:

The 2011 NBCC Annual Meeting will be held at the Lane Motor Museum on Murfreesboro Road at 2 pm.
Dinner at the Southside Grill (6601 Sugar Valley Drive, Nashville) at 5:30 pm.
21st Annual British Car Day - sponsored by the British Motoring Club of New Orleans. If my memory serves me correctly there are a lot of crawdaddies and gumbo consumed at the Friday nite reception. March NBCC Drive - meet at the Nissan HQ in Cool Springs (front parking lot aka 'contractor's lot) = leave at 11 AM sharp. Lunch will be at the Soda Pop Junction and we will end up at the Battlefield Brewing Company in Franklin. Annual Kars for Kids Car Show at the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home at 1310 Franklin Road in Brentwood. We are sponsoring three classes.
April NBCC drive will be April 30. We will assemble at 10 am at the Ravenswood High School parking lot (1724 Wilson Pike - exit 69 off I65, east on Moore's Lane to a right (south) on Wilson Pike, then left after the first light on Wilson Pike). Leave a 10:30 am sharp. Mike and Carol Long will be leading us to Belfast, TN with a lunch stop in Lewisburg at Mildred's. Object of the drive will be to visit new member Jim Hery's restoration shop with a stop at an Alpaca Farm.

Springfield Antique Car Drive In - part of the Taste of County celebration in Springfield on June 11 - no charge - just show off your ride. Starts at 9am and ends at 4pm. Lots of food, music, arts and crafts, and a plant sale and garden tour. Check it out at Taste of Country
The NBCC June drive will start at 2:30 PM from the empty lot next to the MAPCO on Old Hickory just off I 40 at exit 199 (north side of the Interstate). Marshall County is holding their annual Fourth of July Parade in Lewisburg at 9 AM on July Fourth. They have invited us to participate in the parade. If you are interested, contact Jamie Bone at Parade.
The Rugby Historical group is hosting an Antique Car Show as part of their initial Legacy Concert day. Let's get out and support them with a large showing of British Cars. Here is a copy of the show flyer: Show Flyer
The July tour will begin by meeting at 11:30 at the McDonald's at 8050 Hwy.100 on the 17th. We will tour to Carl's Perfect Pig restaurant in White Bluff for lunch then tour on from there to parts TDB. This one will be to points northeast - start at the Cracker Barrel in Lebanon (Exit 238 on I-40 - turn north from the exit) at 0900. Lunch at Tully's Bistro in Hartsville at the intersection of US141 and TN25. This month's drive will be a rally type - cars go off at 90 sec intervals starting at 11:30 - UT game is a 7 pm so it will not interfere. The start will be from the Gulch area, and the route with clues will be handed out at the starting place. The drive is a little over 11 miles and we end up at Restaurant for a late lunch. Everyone is invited to come out to the 2011 Battlefield Region AACA Car Show - Ocotber 1st at the south end of the Cool Springs Mall (near Sears) in the parking lot. Last year we had over 275 entries and this year promisesto be even bigger. Check out the show flyer at AACA Show Flier. This year, because of the size of the show, we will need some more judges. We will hold a judging semina on Saturday, August 20 at 9AM the home of Ron Hinds at 4535 South Carothers Road. We plan to finish no later than 11 am.
The 2011 NBCC Car Show will once again be at Centennial Park. There is no one particular hotel designated as the "Host Hotel" - however there are five nearby hotels listed here: Maps and Directions.
