March NBCC Drive

March 10, 2018 @ 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM

The drive is on, Rain or Shine, and we changed the gathering point for the start as the Ag Center has a dog show that day. Our new gathering and start point is:

Publix Supermarket at Berry Farms Town Center 5021 Hughes Crossing Franklin, TN

(off Goose Creek Bypass between Lewisburg Pike and I65)

Date and Time: Saturday March 10th gathering at the Publix Parking Lot

Lot (Off Goose Creek Bypass between I65 and Lewisburg Pike in Franklin)

The Nashville British Car Club March drive will take place on March 10.

We will visit Tom and Barbara Collins, Loafer’s Glory Collector’s Palace and Garage located at 3511 Memorial Blvd., Murfreesboro, TN 37129 arriving at about 11:00. Tom and Barbara have offered to host a Hot Dog & Hamburger lunch for us, as well as a bonfire, weather permitting. We will break up at about 1:30.

We will hopefully be joined for lunch by the AACA’s Honk, Rattle and Roll Chapter with many of their cars to share for viewing ( Tom is the President of this Chapter ).

The Collins’ venue features a garage/workshop, many antique signs and memorabilia as well as a Pole Box collection. Insofar as cars are concerned, the Collins have anything from a 1903 Oldsmobile Reproduction to a 1924 Fire Engine, several Thunderbirds, several Lincolns from 1947 to 1958, Model A’s, to Model T Touring cars and others.

Tom’s stories will interest all as well, from his working with Ford in Dearborn to Nissan in Tennessee.

RSVP by Wednesday 3/7 to Bob Shadoin at 615-584-4848 or email at NBCC March Drive.
