From there we will go to Portland where we will enjoy booths, crafts, junk food, music and a parade.
We will be participating in the parade - it is another candy tossing event. Each participant must sign up individually.
The sign up form is available at Portland Strawberry Festival in the right hand column at the parade time - 2 pm.
If you want to pick strawberries or just purchase them, we have the addresses for several farms.
That evening there will be a concert and fireworks if you want to stick around for them.
We plan to go back to Gallatin earlier in the day to eat dinner at Larriviere’s restaurant on the square before traveling back home. The restaurant is in an old store and comes highly recommended.
This sounds like a day filled with Americana. It will be just perfect for British car enthusiasts.
