April Drive to Tullahoma and Points South

On April 26, we had a great trip to the Beechcraft / Staggerwing Museum and the George Dickel Distillery with a lunch stop at the Bluegill Restaurant on Timms Ford Lake.

Curt and Debbie Curtiss set it up and here is their note:

Thanks to all who showed up this morning for a great drive. Despite the early rain showers we had a great turn out, there were 10 cars and 19 members who joined us for the drive today.

Tom and Patti Tomlinson in their TR6

JD and Cindy Damon in their XJS

Kevin and Trish Anderson in their MGBGT

Mickey and Janet Richaud in their TR8

Frank and Peggy Broome in their XJS

Curt and Debbie Curtiss in their MiniCooper

Mike and Carol Long in their Riley

Phil and Ramona Trusty in their Lotus

Andy Adams and Lyonel Gilmer in Andy's TR4

and Mike Massieu in his XKE

A special thanks to JD for the route down to the museum and Mike & Carol Long for assisting with the rest of the trip planning and the route back home!

Fortunately the weather cleared up and the museum allowed us to bring out one of their nicest antique aircraft from the hanger so we could take pictures of our cars next to the plane.

The photos from today’s trip are at the following link. A couple of pictures from last weekends Alan Jackson show also snuck in.

If anyone would like a high resolution copy of a specific picture please drop the Webmaster a note with the picture number and he will get it to you.

For those who were not able to make it this time we hope to see you for the next one! April Drive Photos
